Job Designation : Associate Engineer – Design & Development

Job Description :

Web Developer is responsible for designing and developing web application on Windows platforms.
Analyze software requirements and software functional specification
Development and delivery of parts of software component(s) in projects based on the software design.
Implement and document assigned part of component / work product based on project schedule in accordance to the customers’ quality requirements.
Write code/ test code for part of software component/ work product. Unit test the implemented solutions.
Investigate and fix software defects found by test / review team to ensure product quality.
Ensure quality of the developed part of component(s) / work product(s) (conformance with development process) and its technical delivery.
Submit the work products into the software configuration management.

Required Skills and Experience :

B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or MCA or equivalent
Worked in Six Sigma and/ or CMMi (at least level 3) process organization
Good communication skills
Must have minimum of 2+ years of experience
Advanced Knowledge of: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS,
Experience in XML and XML schema
At least 1 year of experience using a PHP framework such as Symfony, YII
Sound Understanding of: OOPs, AJAX, MVC Design Pattern
Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2008
Deploying applications and projects on servers
Ensuring full proof performance of the deliverables
Participating in a team- oriented environment to develop complex web based applications

Desirable Skills :

Experience in using version control systems such as SVN, ClearCase
Knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery
