Job Responsibilities:
- Finalizing Legal entities financials on monthly basis and support Legal Entity Controller (LEC) in all US regulatory reporting.
- Partner with Legal Entity controller (LEC) to support on financial reporting and business initiative.
- Quarterly Regulatory reporting as per US FED and SEC requirements for Asian Legal Entities.
- Support various lines of business and report line of business wise performance reporting on Monthly basis and query resolution.
- Financial Integrity of General Ledger by overseeing daily control checks & follow ups.
- Maintenance of Reference data hierarchy.
- Perform various reconciliations eg. inter-company etc to ensure financial integrity.
- Participate in user acceptance tests during projects on system implementation/changes.
Skill Set:
- Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years experience preferably with financial services industry and experience of US GAAP.
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience in Book closure and finalizing accounts.
- Strong control mindset. Analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.
- Good team player and quick learner.
- Good communication and organizational skills including partnering skills and proactive ness.
- Enthusiastic, with a positive can do attitude.
- Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and Presentations.
- Investment Banking product knowledge including derivatives, equities and debt securities.
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
